Wherever you put your eye,
wherever you fix your attention,
wherever subsisting atom,
You find God.
In the various shapes of clouds,
in the golden rays that get sun,
in brightness throwing stars,
You find God.
In candy bleating in the fields
the flock gives the whistle of the pastor,
in the changing bird trills.
You find God.
Blood running through your veins,
in the same awareness of your Self,
in the beating of your own chest,
You find God.
In the holy mother figure
whose womb the life you donated,
in the open smile of a sister,
You find God.
In the pretty young pupils
that caught your heart loves,
the welcome sight of a loved one,
You find God.
In the hours of darkness and bitterness
when you're alone with your pain
if you are looking in the dark night
You find God.
